Chris Anderson

Chief Executive Officer

Chris Anderson is Catina’s Chief Executive Officer. In senior leadership roles throughout the building industry, he has used proprietary technology and data analytics to promote transparency and collaboration among architects, building owners, contractors and other stakeholders. While serving as CEO of Building Systems Design, a provider of specification software and content, Chris was tapped by the American Institute of Architects and True Wind Capital to shepherd their partnership involving AIA Contract Documents—the industry-standard contracts and forms. Previously, he served as Vice President of Data Strategy & Consulting with the Gordian Group, which acquired RS Means, then the premier U.S. source of building cost data, overseeing data strategy and analytics for all phases of the building construction lifecycle. Prior to his work at Gordian, Chris served as General Manager at RS Means and directed all aspects of the business, including development and execution of customer growth strategy for the company's construction pricing data and consulting services to building owners and facility managers. A native of England, Chris now lives in St. Petersburg, Florida. His is an auto enthusiast and a fan of Formula 1 racing.

Mark Casaletto

Chief Revenue Officer

Mark Casaletto is Catina’s Chief Revenue Officer. A frequent appointee to the boards of directors of national construction organizations and the former President of ConstructConnect, he is widely recognized for helping the industry to enhance its performance through the adoption of emerging technologies. In 2012, Mark was appointed Director-at-Large of the Canadian Construction Association and, in 2014, joined the advisory board of the School of Engineering Technology and Environmental Studies at Georgian College. In 2015, he was appointed to the board of directors of the Toronto Construction Association. As President of ConstructConnect, a leading provider of commercial construction information and technology solutions, Mark helped transform the company from a startup to a market leader. He possesses in-depth knowledge of various technologies, including data analytics, artificial intelligence and blockchain protocols. In recognition of his contributions to the building industry, Mark received the Industry Ally Award from the Council of Ontario Construction Associations in 2017.

Luke Diorio

Vice President Corporate Business Development

Luke Diorio is Catina’s Vice President Corporate Business Development. He leads the development of strategic industry and commercial partnerships through M&A, licensing structures, product alliances and joint ventures. After starting his career in technology transfer, Luke worked in consulting providing strategic guidance to universities, major research institutions and government agencies related to the assessment and commercialization of intellectual property and new ventures. He then spent 5 years leading the business strategy and development operations at a large not for profit. Before joining Catina, Luke served as Managing Director, Business and Product Development at the AIA. He was responsible for the overall business growth strategy for the AIA including new product development, commercial partnerships, and non-dues revenue growth. Luke was instrumental in executing the partnership between AIA and True Wind Capital, having led the overall investment partner identification process and negotiation. Luke lives in Fenwick Island, DE with his wife, Leslie and their three children, Grace, Alice, and Matthew. He enjoys golf and all the things the beach life has to offer.

Shannon McElveen

Chief Operating Officer

Shannon McElveen is Catina’s Chief Operating Officer—serving as a member of the executive team with leadership responsibility for the Content team, Human Capital, Customer Success, Quality Assurance and Revenue Operations. She is also responsible for other strategic initiatives. Having previously served as a consultant to the building industry and a finance executive for both national and regional contractors, she has extensive knowledge of information technology, human resources, and financial functions. Shannon was integral to Catina’s origination. She was responsible for executing the transition from the partnership struck between AIA and TrueWind Capital to its fruition, leading the efforts to develop standalone functions for information technology and human resources. Before joining Catina, Shannon served as the Vice President of Finance for a national contractor where she successfully managed the separation of discrete operational functions from a larger entity. She also served as the Chief Financial Officer of a regional contractor and managed the company’s buy/sell transactions with a private equity firm. Shannon earned her B.S. in Accounting from Clemson University. She is married and shares four children with her husband, Rick. She loves creating memories for her family through travel and family events.

Chad Polich

Chief Financial Officer

Chad Polich joined Catina in 2022 as Chief Financial Officer. He has spent the past two decades in key financial and transformative leadership roles for rapid-growth organizations in the energy, subscription, and software sectors. Chad offers extensive experience leveraging financial insights to drive business performance across all verticals. Prior to Catina, Chad was VP of Finance for an Arlington, VA, based startup and led a successful $72M series D fundraise in addition to taking the company through its first financial and IPO-readiness audits as an independent entity. Chad holds a Bachelor of Science in Informatics from Indiana University, Bloomington and a Master in Business Administration from the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University. He currently resides in McLean, VA, with his wife, Allison, and son, Everett. He enjoys spending his free time chasing his son around his many athletic endeavors. He also enjoys running and cycling on the many trails around Washington, DC, or on a Peloton.

Dean C. Geib
Chief Strategy Officer

Dean C. Geib is Catina’s Chief Strategy Officer. In addition to leading more than $50 billion in design and construction projects over the course of his career, he has a distinguished track record of developing and advancing innovations to benefit the building industry.  

Dean is the originator of numerous industry-standard practices, including the Issue Resolution Log system (now known as the IRL) to democratize project-management issues and the original LOD system (first known as Levels of Design), which is now widely used as the basis of multi-dimensional digital design in the building industry.   

While serving as architectural project manager, director of construction, general contractor and construction manager on various projects, he has collaborated with world-renowned architects, including Richard Meier and Renzo Piano. 

Prior to joining Catina, Dean served as Manager of Standards and Specifications at Walt Disney Imagineering. He was responsible for the development and implementation of SaaS and PaaS cloud-based global master specifications and standards for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. He also managed the development of new material technologies for Walt Disney Imagineering.  

In recognition of his achievements, Dean’s projects have received industry awards from the American Institute of Architects, International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions, International Olympic Committee and Themed Entertainment Association. 

Dean lives in Southern California with his wife and two daughters in a house built in the 1800s.  He enjoys Saturday morning bike rides on the boardwalk, where you can also find him riding his skateboard. He spends the balance of his spare time in his studio drawing and painting.

Roy Kemper
Chief Financial Officer

Roy Kemper is Catina’s Chief Financial Officer. He has served as a financial executive for an array of companies in the building, fintech and retail industries, including a tenure as the Chief Financial Officer for Gordian, a leading provider of facility and construction cost data, cloud-based software and expertise.

After beginning his career with Deloitte & Touche, Roy joined BI-LO, a regional grocery store chain, where he oversaw all internal and external financial reporting. He then joined Gordian as Controller and was later appointed Chief Financial Officer, helping lead the company through a period of significant organic growth and the successful completion of three acquisitions.

Roy lives in Greenville, SC with his wife, Mary; their two children, Clara and Landon; and their dog, Atlas. He enjoys spending time on the lake, as well as cheering on the Atlanta Falcons and Georgia Bulldogs.   

Shannon McElveen
Chief of Staff

Shannon McElveen is Catina’s Chief of Staff—a role that spans human capital management and strategic initiatives. Having previously served as a consultant to the building industry and a finance executive for both national and regional contractors, she has extensive knowledge of information technology, human resources and treasury functions.

Subbu Vadali
Chief Information Officer

Subbu Vadali is Catina’s Chief Information Officer. Over the course of 30 years, he has used technology and data analytics to enhance the productivity of industries ranging from architecture and construction to telecommunications and insurance.

Prior to joining Catina, Subbu served as Chief Technology Officer for Building Systems Design (now RIB Software), leading the development of a new SaaS platform for construction specifications and data analytics solutions, while establishing standards for secured hosting in the cloud.

At Reed Construction Data (later CMD), he led a variety of projects that automated data collection for use in developing architectural guidelines, cloud migration platforms and cloud-based SaaS platforms. In this role, he laid the foundation for a secure infrastructure to host the company’s SaaS products in the cloud based on cybersecurity best practices.

In various consultative and in-house capacities, Subbu has overseen critical technology initiatives for Reed Business Information (part of Reed Elsevier), as well as global warranty management for Assurant and British Telecom in Germany and the Netherlands.

Subbu lives in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia with his wife, Lalima, and their two children. When not working, he prefers traveling, working on home automation projects, electronics and woodworking.

Chris Vernon
Head of Product

Chris Vernon is Catina’s Head of Product. Chris brings over a decade of construction SaaS experience to lead our product team. 

Chris started his career at Textura Corporation, which was acquired by Oracle in 2016. During his time at Textura, Chris was selected to establish an office in Melbourne, Australia and lived there for three years. Upon his return, he moved into product management and came to lead the Textura product management team at Oracle. In 2020, he was awarded a U.S. patent as a coinventor of a software process for managing change orders. 

Chris lives with his wife and young family on a small farm in northwest Illinois.
